In February 2008, in Brussels, based on the initiative of the EC a self-regulation agreement focused on youth protection was signed by mobile operators. The Czech mobile operators joined the initiative in a common declaration of the APMS. They also started blocking the mobile access to child porn sites on the Internet.
What are the results after two years, self-regulation and censorship – those topics will be in the centre of the conference.
Mr. Fred LANGFORD, technology and content director of the Internet Watch Foundation, accepted invitation to the conference together with the representatives of mobile operators and ISPs. Mobile operators are using the IWF black list to block pornographic sites.
